Review: Andy’s Pool Hall
Last night (Friday) I was invited to Andy’s Pool Hall for a friends birthday. Figured that I might as well take a few minutes out of the night to observe and report! The following is a review of the Andy Warhol inspired bar/club.
Business Name: Andy’s Pool Hall

Services:
Not bad, I mean, what can this really be based on? The bartenders serve you just as they would at most bars. So lets just move on to the next point.
Quality of Service/Product:
In terms of their mixing abilities they’re on par with where they should be, nothing special here.
Atmosphere:
In terms of atmosphere the place isn’t bad either; good use of space, furniture throughout, and a 4 table pool hall in the back. Price per hour for renting the tables is $12.00 – which is pretty good considering its a club type environment and clubs love to gouge people whenever they can.
The crowd is primarily young it seems, questionably young. If everyone was in fact of age they certainly were ranging 19-25, with the occasional older club-goer (as usual). To be completely honest it wasn’t the most attractive crowd, maybe it was just that night in particular but with absolutely no dress code and some fairly plump people it wasn’t very pleasing to the eye.
Summary:
Looking for a college dive with some decent music (mostly top 40 type), a bunch of less than attractive young people and $5 cover after 11pm – go to Andy’s Pool Hall. Don’t forget that you can leave your tie and jacket at home – it’s all about the Sneakers and baseball caps.
