GroupForce Document Library is more than a library; it is actually a knowledge base center where all corporate document information is stored and may be accessed from any other module. See it as a document depository for your standard contracts, documentation, competitive intelligence and so forth.
As with other GroupForce modules, workflow and approval is an integral part of this module. No document is made public until it is approved and passes all required internal guidelines. And public may mean intranet of internet.
With GroupForce Document library mechanisms exist where documents may be posted to your corporate web site as soon as they pass the required approval and deployment stages.
No document is perpetual, so a strong versioning system keeps track and storage of various document updates.
For each document in the document library, a source and a release document exists with different access rights.
